Treasure In Clay Jar

2 Corinthians 4:2-15
To find assurance thst despite suffering, as Christians we share in the power that raised Christ from the dead, through which God sustains us.
Glory!
We have all had our share of bullies, from the playground to the neighborhood to the club or the church. There are some bullies in our families or work place.  Bullies are insecure,  and the feeling of domination over someone else made them feel powerful and important.
Christians are not exempt from any abuse. What is the purpose of abuse? What is the reason for this suffering?  God can use the events in our lives, good and bad, to teach us and strengthen us.
Paul and those who worked and traveled with Jesus met many hardships,  which Paul talked about in his letters.
Pottery was an everyday trade,  and clay was used for everything from cooking pots and dishes to wash basins.Even the poorest of the poor could afford it . Sometimes valuable were store in their clay pots.
Would you consider yourself a vessel for God’s gospel?
We got faith , we need to speak the truth.
How can we do great things for God when we are so imperfect? God uses us in whatever condition we may be at the time he needs us. We do not have to be highly educated,  although we can be.

God of great treasure and immense glory,  help us to accept our role in your kingdom. We long to be of service,  but we sometimes doubt our abilities. Show us that our abilities come from you,  and enables us to use them for your glory; in Jesus’ name we pray.Amen
