I was at a funeral and I watched as everyone came in.The only ones giving directions was the women.I’ve decovered that women just want to be heard .Im a female but I love to listen..But as being a nurse the main element that plays an important part in the physical assessment is listening. We just want someone to listen.
Luke 7:36-38; comes to my mind.Everyone including Jesus was at Simon’s house and suddenly this woman came off the street and bowed down at Jesus’s feet. Overcome by her emtions the tears that fell from her eyes,Glory, began to fall upon Jesus feet. So she took her hair and washed His feet.Not saying a mumbling word.This woman needed love and attention while seeking forgiveness.

Mark 5:35-43; when Jesus healed Jariis daughter but just before this happened. Jesus was walking through a large crowd when someone touched the hem of His garment.He had a hard time convincing his disciples that he was touched.So he told them” Somebody touched Me because I felted healing power go out of My body.” Another woman that helded her peace and Jesus showed her love.
It took all she could to go out in public.She wasn’t allowed to touch anything. Especially the preacher.

One last witness: John 8:2-11.This woman was “caught in the act”of adultery.The religious leaders brought her to Jesus. Their question was ” What should we do with this woman ?”Jesus knelt down ,Glory,and wrote something in the sand, but no-one knows what it was.Jesus looks at her heart in this story.Again silence . Jesus looked at the woman and said “Go and sin no more.”
So the number one communicator is listening.
