Home is where the heart is. Your heart is the seat of your emotions and feelings. So, if my heart feels comfortable in Louisiana; it would be hard for me to leave and go somewhere to live.

Remembering in Genesis 12:5, when God told Abram to take his wife Sarai ….and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed.
I read on a little further in Chapter 12: The door was slammed on the past and the future uncertain, God gave Abraham a comforting promise and assurance in verses 2 and 3.
God commanded and Abraham responded.With a heart of faith, a heart willing to obey,and a promise to hold onto.
So in verse 4 Abram departed and stepped onto the unknown.
Abram and Sarai acted on God’ s command as a couple,as partners of faith, while following after God’s own heart.
Look at 12: 11-13, what happened, Pharoah looked at Sarah then, but then, Abraham told him that she was his sister. I found out that Sarah was really his 1/2 sister by the same father but by different mothers.Abraham was afraid of being killed and had a lack of faith in God’s protection.
In verse 17 God protected Sarah.
I maybe wrong but there is nothing mention about how Sarah responded to Abraham’s deception.

I learned from this ;
1.Follow your man: I like reading ,I remembering reading somewhere there are four A’s (Anything, Anywhere, Anytime, and Any Cost) for team (Partners Kingdom building.:-)

2.Be A Team Player.
Have you ever heard “too many cooks in the kitchen?” Genesis 18: when some strangers stopped by Sarah was in the kitchen and Abraham went to select a calf for the meal.Team work together to entertain the quest.

3. From Sarah we learn to live without:
Some of us live without a husband.
Some of live without money for basic needs.

Sarah lived without a child.She went for ten years waiting, wanting, and watchig for a child that was promised.

As I continue to read the Word it strengthens my faith in God and His promises.
