Too Good To Be True

I have heard this statement a lot said. Some believe it sorcery , witchcraft , or voodoo. Especially, if you are in the state of Louisiana. I’ve heard person says that she or he has used a mo-joe on you. Well, why it can’t be true love, destiny or Devine work. I believe that God give good gifts to those who love Him. We pray for a wife, a husband, children, and all things that we need. But, soon as the Master, The Creator gives us these things we give Satan the credit. Most who believe this are God fearing people.

Well, well. I give God his praise and glory everyday for the things he has done in my life. The good as well as the bad. One thing I do know is that the bad out ways the good. I read an article today about the use of sorcery from a blog . It kind of hurt me to my heart.Seasons come and seasons go. Sometimes the season has ended. A new season a new life. New beginning.

Strongholds means nothing to God. Wouldn’t you love God to write never the less in your biography? Born to an alcoholic, but nevertheless, they has been sober all her and his life, Never went to college, but never the less , she or he has mastered a trade, Didn’t read the Bible until he or she was seventy, but nevertheless, he or she came to a deep faith in Jesus Christ.

I remember Paul words, (2 Cor 10:4- ) “we use Gods mighty weapons, not merely worldly weapons, to knock down the devils strongholds. Help me ,Holy Ghost. I remember Jesus and His response to satan in the wilderness. He used three sentences and three Bible verses. He didn’t dialogue with the devil. When Peter told Christ to sidestep the cross, Jesus wouldn’t entertain the thought.”Get behind me Satan” (Matthew 16:31).

A crowd of people ridiculed what he said about a young girl ” The girl is not dead,only asleep.” But the people laughed at Him. You know what Jesus did with the naysayers he silenced them. ” after the crowd had been thrown out of the house, Jesus went into the girls room and took hold of her hand , and she stood up.

Two thoughts: “yes ,it possible” and ” it can’t be possible”. One says “God has answered your prayers” and the other says ” It’s from the devil” . One proclaims Gods strength and the other list their failures . Some thoughts long to build you up and one longs to tear you down. But there is good news! You have a choose to listen to what voice you are hearing.

Joseph divorced by his family. Jailed by his employee. Yes, he became the prime minister of Eygpt. I imagine he had a lot of thoughts run through his head but he kept listening to the one true voice,God Almighty. He probably though he was having bad luck, too.

What about the five time divorcee? The Women at the well.the women who men discared, Jesus discipled. Last report I heard was she introduced the whole town to Christ. Oh, I’m getting in trouble. The Samaritan women was Jesus’s first missionary. God’s mighty weapons, knocked down the devils stronghold.

Nevertheless, Peter preached, Joseph ruled, the women shared, and Jesus
rose ,…..and you? Woooo! Yes,Yes!

Do you sense something supernatural being used against you? Are you experiencing something surreal, something too real to be true? Have you ever sung “If loving you is wrong, I don’t want to be right?” 

Anything that pleases you but displeases God is cause for concern. You may be engaged in spiritual warfare of the sorcery kind. You may have been bewitched (Galatians 3:1). 

Numbers 23 contains an excellent example of how God’s people, minding there own business, were targeted by Satan. But God intervened with a word. Hallelujah!

First, accept it as a real attack of the enemy. You are not dreaming or losing your mind. Throughout the Bible God’s people had to deal with witchcraft, sorcery, and divination (Acts 8 & 16). This tool of the enemy is used by enlisting both spiritual and secular people. It is a powerful tool because God’s people crave spiritual power. But…

Silence Is A GIft

“Mama we need some ice cream to go with your brithday cake.” “Ok” Lets get in the car children and go to the store and get some cream.

We pick up a familiar person in the rain who catches a ride to the store. It was raining really hard. When we make it to the store guess who we see, yes, in the truck with his other.

When he sees the passenger get out of the back seat of the car he goes off. You’ll hear me. He blows the roof.

Yes the children goes inside and get the ice cream. We leave the store and he’s right behind us in his truck. He tries to pass us on the road but here comes a 18 wheeler. I press on the gas harder, yes, so he couldn’t pass me. So he lay back behind me and when I turn at the road I had to stop at the stop sign. He gets out of his truck , yes, shaking in his boots. He says”You trying to play chicken and hits me dead in my face. “Get your a.. home now!” I couldn’t hardly see how to drive , my face felt so wet.
Children was very quiet, so much so, that you could hear a pin drop. Yes, they knew the routine. When I get out the car my babies was screaming pointing at my face. Blood flowing mixed with tears, ice cream ruined, my brithday celebration all gone wrong.
We managed to get some cake and hot dogs.
Everyone seetled in the bed. I hear his truck, loud music, and making cartwheels in the circle driveway. I gets up and check on the children and I noticed that they all had their shoes on and was fully clothed. I kissed each one of them and closed the door.

He steps in door way of the living room with a bulging object in his coat. He goes to the kitchen throws all the food outside at the back door. I didn’t say anything. He comes back to the living room and points an objsect in my face. He asked me “Do ypu believe that I will kill you?” ##
I never said nothing. It’s was so dark and cold in here. He puts the gun to my face, slides it to my neck and back to my chest. In all the silence I never said a word. He unlocks the gun and places it to my neck and pulls the trigger. The gun click twice. He pushes me to floor and calls me a witch.

He then goes outside and fires the gun and eveytime it fires. That cold piece of steel didn’t miss one shot firing.He turns up his music and I hear , yes, a power saw.

He comes back into the house….

When I confessed to my EX’s questioning of my fidelity over a year ago, all she could say was “wow”. She seemed very taken aback by my answer. So today, when I was asked ‘why men cheat’ by a young lady during a Public Speaking event, I was initial hesitant to share the full conversation me and my EX had about her suspicion of my lack of loyalty.

Hold On to Your Faith

Let us draw near with a heart in full assurance of faith, have our hearts sprinkled form an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering: for He is faithful that promise. Hebrews 10: 22,23

Some of us may being going through hell right now. Maybe it’s God . The One who is molding and shaping you into The declared purpose for your life. Well,here she go again. Yes, I’m stuck on this! The Word reads in Romans 8:37, You are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ who loves you. You have the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy.( Luke 10:19) . You are really the head not the tail,above and not beneath, the rich and not the poor. (Deuteronomy 28:13.

Your persistence is all you have sometimes that enable you to be able to Press your way,Press forward and Press on! When everything else is falling apart there’s that the pull, that hope and that power to push forward. STOP YOUR WHINING, STOP YOUR CRYING AND PRESS ON !

Learn to stand under pressure. No matter, how many times your lights get cut off. No matter, how many times your heat and water get cut off. It don’t matter how many times your rent is over due. You might not have a car and have to use the bus to get from this place and the next. Have faith! All I know is , if God gave you a vision the devil is not going to set by and let it come to past. It’s easy to call mama , daddy, grandparents , to get advance loans, or to compromise your standards and morals for something you think will help.Hold on to your faith! God says “I got this!” Hold on to your faith and He said in His word that He will supply ALL our needs.

Job was anointed but he cried out to God . “Even though He slay me yet shall I praise Him”. God wants us to be to the point when trouble comes to be strong. When trouble come, don’t get upset and make bad choices. Thank you! Holy Ghost!

From my experience , I have learned to say., ” I been throug this before. I’ve suffered before. I had to press my way through before. I’ve been lonely before. I had to cry some tears. But through it all, I’ve learned to truth in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God.

I don’t know when the breakthrough is coming, but I continue to hold on to my faith. I don’t know when, where or how but I continue to hold on to God’s unchanging hands.

I know one thing for sure God will surely bring you out. I have faith that My God will do it. If I (Jessie) just continue to be persistent , steadfast, unmovable and always abound in the work and will of The Lord. I will come forth as pure gold.
God owns everything.
God will make away out of no way.
God will supply all your needs.

Is There A Purpose?

All things work together for the good of those who love God.

Why are we confused, ready to give up, wondering what’s going on and all this chaos and turmoil? I say “It has a purpose.”God has to teach us how to trust Him, so when he brings you out you won’t be scared to break the ungodly ties. Your help doesn’t come from man,but from the Lord.

Why is there so much strain, so much struggle, so much conflict and so much hell? yes the pastor said that.:-).Could it be because I am a women or man of destiny? Could there be a purpose or reason for my life? Is there some divine or ordained reason in my being? I’m not a mistake that mama and daddy made one night in the heat of passion or uncontrolled lust? You are not a mistake , you’re not the one who made the choice. The mistake or choice was made by your mama and daddy. So relax you are a blessing from God.

“God, is it possible that You have a divine motive, a divine reason for my conception? Am I called to do something great in life? Is it something nobody else has done, something nobody else can do but me? My brothers can’t do it, my sisters can’t do it, my husband can’t do it, my wife can’t do it,or my pastor can’t do it. Is my personality that unique ,with my life experiences, my failures of life, my shortcomings that no one else can do it the way I can do this? Hmm

Just remember,”to whom much is given, much is required.” Luke 12:48 ~
