Romance?

I think a lot of people don’t understand what real romance is. Anyone can buy flowers, candy and jewelry. The truly romantic things in life are those little things you do every day to show you care, and that you’re thinking of them. It’s going out of your way to make them happy. The way you hold her hand when you know she’s scared, or you save the last piece of cake for him. The random text or call in the middle of the day, just to say “I love you” or “I miss you”. The way he stops to kiss you when he passes by. It’s dedicating her favorite song to her, and letting her eat your fries; telling her she’s beautiful. It’s putting your favorite show on pause so she can tell you about her day, and laughing at his jokes, even the really lame ones. It’s slow dancing in the kitchen and kissing in the rain. Romance isn’t about buying, it’s about giving. True romance is in gestures.

Look What I Found

First.. I have acknowledged my success and a friend has acknowledged with me.

Long held resentments have been aired. Past defeats and disappointments have been re-sized and properly proportioned in the context of a long life. My worst insecurities have been examined and their histories illuminated. I have made peace with my enemies and forgiven my tormentors. I am strong and clear-headed. I have stepped up to myfears and studied them squarely and objectively. My formerly dirty laundry is clean, folded and put in its place.

I have transformed my physical self. The image reflected in the mirror is a happy one. This is who I am and is wonderful. I can now feel the beauty of my body. A deep breath is an experience of fabulous sensations. As my relationship with my body develops, I become closer to nature.

My spiritual self has also been awakened. My religious beliefs have been identified, discarded and chosen. Every day, I am aware of the beauty of life.  My time on this earth is a celebration. I  can now stand on the front lines and applaud every dawn.

I am letting  the world know that I am ready for love? Just by the  glow on my face and being sure of humility.  The beauty of my attitude is an invitation to a kindred soul. My good works are offered as supporting evidence. Now is the time to step back, as you leap forward and see what life brings. I was told no matter where my hands are placed  it gives blessings

As I  prepare for this journey to partnership and let the world know that I am ready, I must pack my bag with practice ,patience and understanding. I am ready but is the  the rest of the world ready for me . I can  accept this with patience and understanding. I have been  ready to say hello to my soulmate but he may need to finish somethings first or secure things for us before he can smile back.

Patience allows me to look deeper. Our society places a great importance on first impressions, but you know how unreliable first impressions really are. Patience has let me inquire and discover another person’s true characteristics. Patience has allowed me  to listen.
To glow, or to radiate the goodness that is in me, requires me to take a step back. It demands that I let go of certain desires and accept what life presents to me. Does it really matter what statue your soulmate has? Does he have to be a celebrity? Is it mandatory that he be rich? Let that go.

This is not to say that I must abandon my goals. On some issues, I will want to act aggressively. In the matters of love, it is best to be patient and understanding. I’m told I cannot rush time. Every season has many days.

I’ve learned to be gracious in life.To glow requires a sense of self, a readiness to action and a predisposition of grace. I aspire to beauty. I chose goodwill. I prefer the clarity of light and understanding to the darkness of judgment and prejudice. MY actions reflects these beliefs. As I wait and observe patiently, be gracious with all whom I encounter. This is the high road. Always walk with grace. Choose graciousness. People will notice your Glow.

I have obtained confident while waiting. I don’t need to shout. Confidence is a very quiet emotion. Confidence is not a hope, but a belief. Take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Confidence is silent. When confidence becomes too loud, we are introduced to a braggart. Confidence can be seen. It is easy to identify. To be confident is to Glow. Step back, relax and radiate.

And at last Ive learned  just how to be Me.All of my hard work is over. Now,I can relax. Just be who I am in this moment , this second and this hour There is nothing left to do. No worries to make. No anxieties to distress. Just be Me. Like the brightest star or the most powerful lighthouse, my new found grace, confidence and compassion is a beacon. To glow is to tell the world that I am ready for this love. Glow.. Queen……Waiting for your King.

What You Don’t Need

You don’t need anyone’s affection or approval in order to be good enough. When someone rejects or abandons or judges you, it isn’t actually about you. It’s about them and their own insecurities, limitations, and needs, and you don’t have to internalize that. Your worth isn’t contingent upon other people’s acceptance of you — it’s something inherent. You exist, and therefore, you matter. You’re allowed to voice your thoughts and feelings. You’re allowed to assert your needs and take up space. You’re allowed to hold onto the truth that who you are is exactly enough. And you’re allowed to remove anyone from your life who makes you feel otherwise.

Make A Wish

Please don’t worry so much. Because in the end, none of us have very long on this Earth. Life is fleeting. And if you’re ever distressed, cast your eyes to the summer sky, when the stars are strung across the velvety night, and when shooting star streaks through the blackness, turning night into day, make a wish. Think of the Creator who created you. Make your life spectacular. I know I did.”~ Robin Williams in Jack (1996)

The One

The one who wants to be with you knows that falling deeply in love with you doesn’t happen all at once and it can take years to truly get to know someone. Learning about someone is like wandering through a mansion with many rooms; it’s always discovering that there’s another door to unlock. This person is willing to go on that journey, to be constantly surprised by how intricate and deliciously complex you are. But they also love how simple you are sometimes, as simple as a backrub after a long day, because they love everything about you. They’re willing to stick it out with you through the hard conversations and the rough patches — whatever it takes to be together, they’re willing to fight for it.

If

If you claim to love me, show me. If you love me please do not needlessly hurt me. I have been broken countless times before yet I am still fragile. There’s no telling if the broken pieces will fit together again next time around. Do not harden me. I want to keep loving the world and the people in it. Please treat me kindly. Handle me with the care you’d give to your favorite glass. I want to love you but I can’t until you earn my trust. Do not drop me. In return I will love you as fiercely.

Can You?

You can fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time. You can’t explain what it is about them. It’s just the way they take you to a place where no one else can.

So what do we say to these things? Can we sweep it under the rug. Does oir heart burn with so much joy that we just want to shout t o the world “I Love  You.”

Is that we afraid what would happen. Are we afraid of what the people will say? Action speaks louder than words. You may van nuzzle the w I rds but sooner or later the light is going to burst throigh.

The story is told of a lady after seven years of being in solitude to herslf she falls in love. When she meets her soulmate odd things began to happen. After all the darkness in her heart there came a warm light in her heart that she hasn’t felt before.

She was  going through daily life being careful not to let anyone step on her. But she met her prince charming that was also going through life as a unchanged daily rountine.

Time and circumstances put them together. The more time held them the deeper the love began to penetrate the walls.

When the light came through the tunnel  “Wow, We’re in love.” What do we do …where do we go from here… Is it the wrong timing, wrong place or in the wrong situation.  Only the creator knows and things just dont happen. There is always a reason …….
