Stop focusing on your circumstances and begin focusing on the promises of God.
Peter in the boat one night when he sees Jesus walking on water. Peter shouted out, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on water.” Jesus told him to “come” and Peter , got out of boat and walked to Jesus. Something happened half way there, Peter began to notice the strength of the wind and the height of the waves, and before he knew it, he was on his way sinking and crying out to the Lord for help. Jesus reached down and saved him. “Peter you doing well, why did you stop?”
Reading in Psalms 34, verses 6&7, I believe David writes, ” This poor man cried, and The Lord heard him out of all his troubles. The angels of The Lord encamped all around Him, and rescues them .” Peter cried out to Jesus, and The Lord responded immediately. There has been many times that I didn’t know what to do. All Jessie Faye knew was to stand on His Word. I have went to bed crying out to God to help me. Sometimes he responded and there were times when there was a deep cry or plea He would answer and supply all my needs.
There is never a time when God gives up on us. He gives us the faith that’ we need to hold out. Do not look at your circumstance. Hold on to the promises of His Word. Put your faith, hope and trust in God……
NaGather sent me this scripture this morning. Proverbs 3:5&6: “Trust in The Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.”
Then my best fried always tell me to read this chapter. Psalm 62:1-2,5-8;
Truly my soul silently waits for God,
From Him comes my salvation.
He is only my rock and my salvation,
He is my defense,
I shall not be greatly moved…..
My soul, waits silently for God alone,
For my expect station is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation.
He is my defense,
I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and glory,
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, it is God.
Trust in Him at all times you people,
Pour out your heart before him,
God is a refuge for us.
Look for God’s-guidance through His Word, the Holy Spirit,
Through close friends or a Pastor’s-message on Sunday morning.
