Victory is Yours

Stop focusing on your circumstances and begin focusing on the promises of God.
Peter in the boat one night when he sees Jesus walking on water. Peter shouted out, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on water.” Jesus told him to “come” and Peter , got out of boat and walked to Jesus. Something happened half way there, Peter began to notice the strength of the wind and the height of the waves, and before he knew it, he was on his way sinking and crying out to the Lord for help. Jesus reached down and saved him. “Peter you doing well, why did you stop?”

Reading in Psalms 34, verses 6&7, I believe David writes, ” This poor man cried, and The Lord heard him out of all his troubles. The angels of The Lord encamped all around Him, and rescues them .” Peter cried out to Jesus, and The Lord responded immediately. There has been many times that I didn’t know what to do. All Jessie Faye knew was to stand on His Word. I have went to bed crying out to God to help me. Sometimes he responded and there were times when there was a deep cry or plea He would answer and supply all my needs.

There is never a time when God gives up on us. He gives us the faith that’ we need to hold out. Do not look at your circumstance. Hold on to the promises of His Word. Put your faith, hope and trust in God……

NaGather sent me this scripture this morning. Proverbs 3:5&6: “Trust in The Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.”

Then my best fried always tell me to read this chapter. Psalm 62:1-2,5-8;

Truly my soul silently waits for God,
From Him comes my salvation.
He is only my rock and my salvation,
He is my defense,
I shall not be greatly moved…..

My soul, waits silently for God alone,
For my expect station is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation.
He is my defense,
I shall not be moved.

In God is my salvation and glory,
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, it is God.
Trust in Him at all times you people,
Pour out your heart before him,
God is a refuge for us.

Look for God’s-guidance through His Word, the Holy Spirit,
Through close friends or a Pastor’s-message on Sunday morning.

Listen for His voice.

Life Plan

Many times we have all stood at the crossroads of life. Many times standing there wondering which way to go. But , never count God out of the plan because he holds the future in His hand. Sometimes, life takes an unexpected turn, and we refuse to become embittered or frustrated with God because He knows what’s up ahead. He can see the sunshine, even though we are walking through the dark valley.

At six weeks old, Fannie Crosby lost her eyesight at the hands of a man who claimed to be a physician. This left the family in shock and gave them much sorrow. Yes, But years later , she wrote” If this accident was a mistake and if prefect earthly sight were offered to me tomorrow, I would not accept it.” From her viewpoint, it was the will of God.

Fannie Crosby wrote:

All the way my Savior leads me, What have I to ask beside?

Can I doubt a His tender mercy, Who through life been my guide?

Heavenly peace, divinest comfort, here by faith in Him to dwell!

For I know what’re befall me, Jesus doeth all things well.

For I know what’re befall me, Jesus doeth all thing well.

Life will hold many moments of joy and hope. It also contain many trails and tribulations that will test our faith in the One who gives life. Instead of focusing on our circumstances, learn to watch for God’s direction, and there comes that special peace of mind and in your heart you know that it’s beyond anything in this world.

God can take your trails, heartaches, suffering and even our sins and turn them into something good? Come here Abraham and Sarah I need a witness. The problem with Sarah was that she was beyond childbearing age.she was at least ninety if I recall correctly. That let me know that God will allow us to wait for His will to unfold, and I am determined that God’s destined for us cannot be changed. It will take place.

Sarah laughed at God , the creator, when He told her that she would have a son. The Lord asked Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh?.” (Gen.18:13) Have you ever been caught by God when you doubted His promise or instructions? Yes! We have quenched the Spirit through lack of faith in His ability.

Sarah got tried of waiting. Sarah was disobedience by rushing ahead and went into another direction. We all know what happened , Sarah suffered from her own plight.

Timing is everything. God has set a certain time for events to happen. Things that will unfold in your life and in the future. Fasting, for our own motives, will not change His mind.

Not only did Sarah laugh at God’s promise to Abraham, but years before, she had taken matters into her own hand. She recruited a maid to have a child with her husband.

There are many aspects of God ‘s will that we must accept by faith. This is because He is God and there is non other.
