Help me Job,
Job was a perfect and upright man.The Bible tells me that he sacrificed everyday for his family . Satan was going to and fro to see whom he could devour. Then God asked him have you considered My servent Job? Satan. answered and said “I thought about him but you got a fence of protection around him. Satan says “If you just let me get to him I’ll make him curse you to your face.”God says”You can have his body but you can’t touch his soul”There are something that God Wil let satan do do far.
I’ve been tempted, tried, buffeted and pushed and knocked down but you’ll I’m still standing. I’m still standing because I belong to God. If anybody ask you who I am tell them I’m a Child of God.Talk about me as much as you please. Criticize me as much as you want a. I got power you don’t now nothing about.
It’s not in my education. Not in my beauty and good looks that will soon get old. You gotta be strong in the Lord.
“.Fret not yourself of evil doers.”

The Storm

Sometimes your greatest enemy is yourself.
We blame the devil sometimes for a lot of things that he don’t  know anything about. Sometimes it’s only a test of the Lord Jesus Christ. .
We call them hater raters. I’m readying this book called angels .Sometimes we have surprises, we call storms, in our lives. In today’s lectionary text in Mark. 4 Jesus is in the boat,I the lowest parts, and rests his head on a cushion. I’ve learned that this cushion was only for the captain,My My.
His brothers up on the deck forgot about Jesus. He was resting from the daily woes of about His Father’s business.Even JESUS let us know we need rest,,some alone time and just wait .

Being our Father’s son ,he got up with power in his hand. I can see HIM with the foot of peace on the edge of the boat, standing firm in the midst of the storm.I can see Jesus opens His mouth and speaks to the wind and the waves “Peace Be Still.”

Do What You Can

Shamgar. (sword), son of Anath, judge of Israel. When Israel was in a most depressed condition, Shamgar was raised up to be a deliverer. With no arms in his hand but an ox-goad, (Judges 3:31) comp. 1Sam 13:21 He made a desperate assault upon the Philistines, and slew 600 of them.

There are always enemies around the outer fold of your territory while you taking care of the inner fold. Sometimes we focus in our life, problems, and career that we never take the time to focus on what will happen if you leave the scene. To busy to show someone else how to do the things we do, training others to take our place or others to pick up the paton and keep things moving.
We try to work on our Big sin and leave our little sin along. Before we know it the Little sin has grabbed us and overtaken us.Before you know it , what you thought you have gotten over will take over every time. There are some sins thought we have gotten over, some we thought we have gotten the victory over and bam it hits us right in the face.We have placed to the outside, forgotten about it and just when we dint need it ,well, it shows up. To show you that you are not strong as you really were. Whatever we count on as our strength God Will demonstrated that it is our weakness. We are no match for satan. That victory that we thought we had overcome long ago will show up to embarrass us .Don’t believe me.

First learn to be honest.I believe God would never move you to a higher position if weren’t overflowing where you are. Aww. You can’t pastor if you don’t like to go to church. You can’t lead folks if you don’t like fooling with people.Help me ,Holy Ghost.. How you gonna lead people and don’t won’t to be lead. How you gonna be over people and can’t be under nobody.ouch…God ain’t gonna move you to do a work if haven’t done a work where you been planted. You gotta be overflowing where you are and then God not man will place you somewhere else.Get me.You have feel the overflow yourself.
Already praying. Already singing. Already giving. Already praising. Already doing your best….aaaaah
Then God Will Move you.

Shamgar was a farmer, mining his own busbusiness . You have courage before the fight. The advantage on our knee. We don’t to curse nobody out just pray for them. We have to have the courage by simply getting on our knees. Just ask God to work on that person and before you know they are a changed person. While you were on your knees praying God was working it out. The fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much.
Shamgar was mining his own business.Plowing in his field. He was using his sheepgoas in his hand tending the horse. Then a fight broke out. Look what happens..When the fight broke out he got ready and fought, Shamgar was victorious.Because he used what he had on his hand.
Don’t blame your instrument or your surroundings. He didn’t say I’m not fight cause I don’t have a sword. I’m not gonna preach cause I don’t have the degree, I’m not gonna apply for that job because Im not qualified. Excuses Excuses,Shamgar had only a oakgoa in his hand so he used what he had.

The work person is more valuable than their tools. 2Corinthians tells us that

What You Say

Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you; leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.”

Jesus tells us to first go to the person one-on-one. Second, go to the person quickly. Jesus counseled that, if someone is worshiping God and remembers that he or she has offended a friend, the appropriate response is to stop right there and go immediately to the offended individual. With those words Jesus made it clear that correct interpersonal relationships are more important than correct ritual. This tends to grate against religious folks who say that God must be our first priority. It is true that God should be our primary focus. However, our relationship with God is better gauged by our human relationships than by religious ritual. Although we cannot guarantee that the offended brother will accept us, we are obligated to make every effort “as far as it depends on” us (Romans 12:18).

Jesus’ teaching is to take the initiative. When you have done something wrong, you go and make it right. When someone else has wronged you, you still take the first step.

If your friend has something against you, you go to him? And if you have something against your friend, you go to him? That has you going to him in both cases, whether you have something against him, or you know he has something against you (This is related to any relationship). When I first made that discovery, I remember thinking: That’s not fair! Then I realized that God is not asking us to do anything that He has not already done. You see, God is the initiator in the God-person relationship.

Jesus is not asking us to do anything he hasn’t modeled for us. He gave up heaven to come down to earth, become a servant and die to repair our broken relationship with the Father. In Jesus Christ, God takes the initiative. When we come to see how important people are to God, we will value what Christ’s death makes possible. We will value it enough to take the initiative in resolving relational breakdowns.

Effective leaders don’t ignore conflict. They consume it by creating an environment in which each other are enabled to work through relational friction on a one-on-one basis. Only after such efforts have failed are others allowed to enter the conflict, and then only for the purpose of bringing about reconciliation. Conflicts can’t be avoided, but they can be managed. And a wise leader will devote himself or herself to learning how to do just that.

You can very easily regna and bring an ending to your conflict. But by doing so; your future with your spouse would eventually be completely destroyed. And the reason is because you have not end the conflict with your spouse on using words that are very hurtful and painful towards you and vise-versa.

God is about relationship in Himself with you and your spouse; which means, you both are accountable to God and also to one another in words and actions. A relationship is plural and not singular; which also means, both of your perspectives has value. I suggest reading “ACCOUNTABILITY” which will give you a great perspective in how to end your conflicts forever

Committed

We women all love the story of Ruth and Boaz, but here is my story. As most of you that follow my journey know I too lost someone very near and dear to me, my friend taught me a valuable lesson in life which is the key to forgiveness. I wanted to be committed to my friend; I just thought timing wasn’t on my side. It was a tough time for me; although I surrounded myself around positive people who loved the Lord as much as I do. During my grieving moment, I asked “so God does this mean I will never get married?” I knew God word says “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay (Habakkuk 2:3) “.

Delay Doesn’t Means Denial

During the past six months of my life; I was praying and asking God to connect me to the heart that is meant to love me. I still tried to do things my way; which resulted in disappointment after disappointment. I decided to make a self- vow after I forgave my father. I vowed that I was not giving my time to emotionally unavailable men or people. I found myself fully committed to God; I was reminded why I chose patience over not settling, I know the word of God says “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened (Matthew 7-7:8).” The devil tried it, he lied and said I was lonely and I will be single forever .Waiting and being patient can be difficult; due to today’s society we are living in. The I want it (NOW) society. I was reminded that I serve the most high God and my faith lies within Jesus Christ. Women of substance, I’m here to tell you; hold fast because God answers our prayers; he gives us three answers NO, NOT YET, or I HAVE SOMETHING BETTER FOR YOU. Waiting during the difficult times develops our relationship with God. “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin (Proverbs 18:24).” When we wait during the hard times, just know that God is right in the trenches with us waiting. Delay Doesn’t Mean Denial .

Be Obedient to God

Then God said, Rise and anoint David; this is the one. . . and from that day on, the Spirit of God came powerfully upon David.” –  1 Samuel 16:12-13

The whole town stopped in its tracks when Samuel showed up. “Is there bad news . . . from God?”

Not this time. God was sending Samuel to check out each of Jesse’s sons as prospects for becoming Israel’s next king.

Each son made a great impression upon the fearless, not easily swayed prophet whose piercing gaze could strip even the hearts of kings to nakedness. Samuel knew the voice of the Stillspeaking God . . . and God’s silence.

“Are there more sons, Jesse?”

In the silence and waiting, Samuel discovers that Jesse has not presented his youngest son, David, who is “out tending sheep.”

Keep listening, Samuel.

So much of shepherding is waiting, watching, and listening. There’s no express lane to leading, feeding and grazing.

Keep listening, Samuel.

The will of God is often revealed in the waiting, watching, and listening . . . unstopping the ears of our hearts to hear the faint sounds of earth breaking open, freeing the first shoots of God’s future, unfolding before us . . . and there are no shortcuts.

And when it was time, God said to Samuel, “Rise and anoint David; this is the one.  Then the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David”

Whether seeking a leader or life direction, put your ear to the ground of God’s Being with prayerful attentiveness, always looking and listening for the early green shoots of God’s future for your life, family, relationships, church, or whatever. Get up! Move forward! Trust God to do the things we cannot!

Prayer

Gracious God, the direction I need is not yet clear. I am comforted in knowing my path is clear to you. Grant me clarity. Empower me to rise up and move forward as part of your plan to bless the world. Amen.

The One

Wait for the one who simply adores you. The kind of person who brings out the best in you and makes you want to be a better person; the only person who will drop everything to be with you at any time no matter what the circumstances, for the person who makes you smile like no one else ever has. Wait for the person who wants to show you off to the world because they are so proud of you. And most of all, wait for the person who will make you a priority, because that’s where you belong.

A story is told to me about a lady who was faced with a big life threatening decision. She goes to see the doctor and he walks in with the nurse.
“Ma’am I have known you for a long time, saw all your children born, performed your operation and even know your family. The doctor went on to tell her “We”‘ve done everything we can possibly do through science and d we can’t do anything else. I’m sorry you such a good patient  and friend.”

The lady got up from the table walked out the doctors office. Went to her car and there was a little house Wren  where sitting on the hood of her automobile. The little bird stood straight in salute, stuck out his chest and looked up at her.

She goes on to say that she thought about Jesus on the cross. His arm stretched wide , both hands nailed to

the cross, feet  nailed to the cross. Suffering taking all the problems of this old world on his shoulders. Taking all he can to breath with his tis rib cage stuck put for  his old physical body was suffering.
