I want an old fashioned type of love

I want an old fashioned type of love.

A love where there are  no doubts, no insecurities and no fears.
When the term “till death do you part” meant exactly that.
When disagreements are only temporary but the make up process is so worth the fight.
When “divorce” isn’t an option and “forever” is the goal.

I want an old fashioned type of love.

I want to eat Sunday dinner with my husband after going to church service.
I want to go on family barbeques and be annoyed by the mosquitos and my childrens and his if he has any.

I want to leave my phone face up on the table and ask him to answer it if I’m busy.
I want to have date nights, where we use Netflix to watch boring chick flicks, because I’ll be looking forward to my reward.

I want to know fully the man who has my heart and I want him to know mine.

I want an old fashioned type of love.

But in order to have that, I know God has to send him.

I want an old fashioned type of love.

In The Midst

Coldness
Stillness
Quietness
The breath of God do I hear.

The aroma of His presence
There’s a mist in the room
Crispness
Freshness

Light that shines through darkness
Nature’s pin light
Penetrate s through the coldness
The stillness of darkness

Wait, The Creator pulls back the curtain of darkness, glimpses the attention of all night presence.

Blackness turns into  brightness
Darkness turns into weakening power

Sleepiness into awaken power
The touch of mercy with head shake of grace

This creator enables this creature to open eyes
Stretch out the limbs  that reaches outward
The palm of the hand that can tell the story
Now, movement in the legs and feet
Where are we to thread upon today

Holy Spirit go with me as my guide
Come on, lead me to the place where I belongs

Eyes

As I gaze into your eyes,
Two stars brown and bold.
I can’t help but notice all the warmth you truly hold.
Through your eyes I see your soul.
Bare untouched and still whole.

Looking up into your eyes,
All my problems fade and fall away..
Looking up into your eyes,
Make me love you more and more each day.

Looking into your eyes I can see your every thought.
Telling me what every pain has brought.
Letting me know that you are letting the pain go.

There’s no crying beneath the skies,
There’s no hiding behind your eyes.
They tell your every feeling,
They scream them loud and ckear.
They tell me that you care
And you’ll always hold me near.

Staring into your eyes should be a crime,
‘Cuz the feeling it gives me on the inside.
So now as I said In this rhyme,
I’ll love you until the end of time..
