Love

We as leaders desire to sweep this world with the power of God. We cannot do it without love. Love is the key that unlocks the door to all God has for us.

I Corinthians, chapter 13,
I always heard it described as the Love chapter. In verses 1-3, Paul said that without love, you cannot produce the gifts of the Spirit.

You can have a million-dollar cathedral, but without love you are nothing.

You may be able to raise the dead in your ministry,  but without love you are nothing.

Veres 4-8 we are told what love is:

Love is the force within you that suffers a long time and it still kind and gracious.

Love is that force within you that does envy.

Another person may have more than you have, but it shouldn’t  matter. There car may be nicer than yours or home, but you shouldn’t be envious.

Love is not puffed up, making a big “I” and a little “u.”

Love acts the right way.

Love rejoices in the truth.

Love never fails.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes in all things, and endures all things.~

Verse 13 says, “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

When you find love or love finds you ; you have found a treasure.

In The Beginning

Genesis 1:1,3
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said Let there be light:  and there was light. In the beginning, in the creation of the world , we think of omnipotence(all powerful)

How? All of the chaos that existed in the beginning. The Spirit of God moved upon the darkness and there came forth light.

David comes to mnd in Psalm 139:7 says,’Whither
Shall I go from thy spirit?or whither shall I flee from thy presence? ”

The Holy Ghost possesses all power and He is everywhere.

So it is the Holy Ghost who moves back and forth, bring communication from our hearts to God and from God’s heart to us .
“In the last days….I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh.” Well, that means all flesh( all people).

I believe that anything that has been given to us was given to us from” God to share. I am encouraged to share and to share everything that I receive.
As you give,you receive.

I believe God ordained my past so I could share with someone today for such a time as this.

Obtaining the gift of faith by just believing for something.~

Where Is Your Heart

Home is where the heart is. Your heart is the seat of your emotions and feelings. So, if my heart feels comfortable in Louisiana; it would be hard for me to leave and go somewhere to live.

Remembering in Genesis 12:5, when God told Abram to take his wife Sarai ….and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed.
I read on a little further in Chapter 12: The door was slammed on the past and the future uncertain, God gave Abraham a comforting promise and assurance in verses 2 and 3.
God commanded and Abraham responded. With a heart of faith, a heart willing to obey, and a promise to hold onto.
So in verse 4 Abram departed and stepped onto the unknown.
Abram and Sarai acted on God’ s command as a couple,as partners of faith, while following after God’s own heart.
Look at 12: 11-13, what happened, Pharoah looked at Sarah then, but then, Abraham told him that she was his sister. I found out that Sarah was really his 1/2 sister by the same father but by different mothers.Abraham was afraid of being killed and had a lack of faith in God’s protection.
In verse 17 God protected Sarah.
I maybe wrong but there is nothing mention about how Sarah responded to Abraham’s deception.

I learned from this ;
1.Follow your man: I like reading ,I remembering reading somewhere there are four A’s (Anything, Anywhere, Anytime, and Any Cost) for team (Partners Kingdom building.:-)

2.Be A Team Player.
Have you ever heard “too many cooks in the kitchen?” Genesis 18: when some strangers stopped by Sarah was in the kitchen and Abraham went to select a calf for the meal.Team work together to entertain the quest.

3. From Sarah we learn to live without:
Some of us live without a husband.
Some of live without money for basic needs.

Sarah lived without a child. She went for ten years waiting, wanting, and watchig for a child that was promised.

As I continue to read the Word it strengthens my faith in God and His promises.
As my cover picture on FB says: ” One thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God’s in Christ Jesus.” Philippines 3:13-14_~

Watch Your Actions

I was at a funeral and I watched as everyone came in.The only ones giving directions was the women.I’ve decovered that women just want to be heard .Im a female but I love to listen..But as being a nurse the main element that plays an important part in the physical assessment is listening. We just want someone to listen.
Luke 7:36-38; comes to my mind.Everyone including Jesus was at Simon’s house and suddenly this woman came off the street and bowed down at Jesus’s feet. Overcome by her emtions the tears that fell from her eyes,Glory, began to fall upon Jesus feet. So she took her hair and washed His feet. Not saying a mumbling word. This woman needed love and attention while seeking forgiveness.

Mark 5:35-43; when Jesus healed Jariis daughter but just before this happened. Jesus was walking through a large crowd when someone touched the hem of His garment. He had a hard time convincing his disciples that he was touched. So he told them” Somebody touched Me because I felted healing power go out of My body.” Another woman that helded her peace and Jesus showed her love.
It took all she could to go out in public. She wasn’t allowed to touch anything. Especially the preacher.

One last witness: John 8:2-11.This woman was “caught in the act”of adultery. The religious leaders brought her to Jesus. Their question was ” What should we do with this woman ?”Jesus knelt down ,Glory, and wrote something in the sand, but no-one knows what it was.Jesus looks at her heart in this story.Again silence . Jesus looked at the woman and said “Go and sin no more.”
So the number one communicator is listening.

This is my Son

Matthew 3:13-17

Jesus goes to be baptised by John. John tries to talk him out of it, but Jeus insists it is necessary to do all of God’s will.
Sometimes awesome happened when Jesus comes out of the water,  the Holy Spirit descends upon Him in the form of a dove and a Voice from heaven declares, “This is my dearly loved son whom I am well please.
