Transitioning To A New Season In Ministry

Times and seasons are the creation of God, and they do not change on their own. Principalities and dominion rule times and seasons. The sun, moon, and stars are principalities and powers created by God to judge over time and seasons. The Scriptures reveal that God created the sun to rule over the day and the moon over the night. These are principalities and dominions created to rule and govern.
It is essential then that as the times and seasons change, we prepare ourselves for the new opportunities and threats that the new season unleashes. We know that all things are moving towards a state of chaos and anarchy; if you do not prepare yourself for the coming season, you may struggle through time. Transition can be a difficult time. We are uncomfortable with the status quo, and yet the new opportunity that God for us has not yet manifested.
New seasons in our life, and God doesn’t shelter us from change. He uses it to prepare us for recent seasons of opportunity and service. New seasons and experiences stretch us beyond our current comfort zones. Sometimes–maybe, far too often– we rush right through the signs of the seasons and miss out on the things that God is trying to point out to us. It is sad because we have so much undeveloped potential in all of our lives. Productive seasons don’t just happen automatically. We must prepare for a new season.
There are new seasons that have been made available to me. I said that I didn’t want to attend seminary, but God whom I have given my life changed that. There was a door of opportunity to participate in a seminary, and financial aid was made available. Yes, It is an answer to my paper on bettering myself in the ministry. Being a Pastor for twenty-plus years and at middle age, here comes the opportunity.
The Lord has opened the windows of heaven for me. I have now started a YouTube Sunday School lesson channel, and I was like Moses using the excuse of having a lurch speech. I have written over seven books, and the sky is the limit. I am in awe of what God is doing in my life.
My question to who read this publication. Do we give up on the vision that God gives us for a better job or an improvement in our life or church because we see problems and barriers in the way? Maybe we say, “I can’t go to college. I can’t make it. I don’t have any money to get a better car. I can’t teach a Sunday school class. Can’t go to seminary. Can’t change jobs. Can’t live in a better house.” We give up on any number of things. These were my questions before I reaffirmed my life in God. I learned that even the messenger needs a Word.
